What materials to choose for corrosion resistance in geothermal water zones

I would like to ask: geothermal water is corrosive and cannot be used directly. However, in the heating industry, groundwater is used for heating purposes. From what I’ve found online, groundwater is corrosive to both carbon steel and stainless steel. Does anyone with expertise know how to determine the appropriate thickness of the material when using carbon steel or stainless steel? (I am manufacturing distribution valves.) If carbon steel or stainless steel isn’t used, what other materials are available?
