I would like to ask everyone: if the access points for pipes are not determined in the initial construction drawings of a device, and only the layout of the pipe exits is provided later based on process requirements, can the contractors carry out the construction using both sets of drawings? Is it still necessary to modify and upgrade the construction drawings, adding the final position of the pipe ends before starting construction?
The construction drawings, along with the pipe outlet layout diagram, complete the set.
The first option is clearly not viable. What if the opening in the device is 180 degrees away from the direction of the pipe outlet?
All design institutes first provide the construction drawings, and then the locations of the pipe openings
During construction, work can be carried out according to the two drawings, but the as-built drawings need to be integrated.
The design can be changed to the orientation of the process pipe outlet, or a design change is sufficient.

Thank you all for your answers; I’ve learned something. On the pipe outlet orientation diagram, it is usually a circumferential top view; but what if the height of some pipe outlets also varies? Will there be a design change?
First, position it according to the equipment port layout diagram, and then proceed with construction based on the equipment construction drawings.
First build the main body, then install the pipe ends – that’s to meet the requirement of shortening the timeline, right?
