Regarding the new standard for end caps, GB/T25198-2023, and the issue of test plates for end caps: According to the requirements of this new standard, for equipment that handles extremely hazardous media, welded end caps require the use of welding test plates. In other words, if a device handles extremely hazardous media, the head needs to be joined; at least two welding test plates are required, one for the longitudinal seam of the cylinder and one for the joint of the head. Should the splice test plates for the end caps be made one for each end cap, or should one piece of test plate be used for two end caps on one machine? It’s so annoying! ! . If the welding process for the head joints is the same as that for the longitudinal seams of the cylinder, can they be combined into one?
