Is it reliable to use this parameter for fire-tube boilers? Some manufacturers recommend water-tube boilers.
It’s better to make them into water pipes; pipes with a pressure of over 1.6 MPa are rarely used as fire pipes.
Fuel, gas, or biomass?
The WNS type – this furnace design is already very mature. There’s no need to cheat.
The choice between water tubes and fire tubes depends mainly on the dust content on the flue gas side; first and foremost, it is necessary to consider whether that side is easy to clean.
This is a cost issue. The fire tubes have good sealing properties and are simple to manufacture; perhaps only heat treatment is required. The amount of steel used for the water tubes is low, resulting in low costs.
