Thought question 14: Generally, how many layers are there for the primer, intermediate coat, and topcoat – how many coats in total, and what is the thickness of each layer?
Generally, there are two layers each; I can’t remember the exact thickness
This depends on the requirements of the equipment and the environmental conditions in which it will be used; most equipment only requires a topcoat and a primer.
The number of coating applications and the thickness of the paint film vary depending on the intended use
Surface anti-corrosion treatment is required: 2 layers of primer, 3 layers of intermediate coat, and 2 layers of topcoat, with a total thickness of over 120μm. It is related to the pressure of the painting gas!
In short, two lows and two highs with three middles.
Two bottoms, three middles, and two surfaces; the total thickness should be no less than 200 micrometers

It should be determined based on the object to be protected from corrosion and the type of paint used. Generally, the thickness of the primer is 50um per layer, the thickness of the intermediate coat is 90um per layer, the thickness of the aliphatic polyurethane topcoat is 40um per layer, and the thickness of the 250°C silicone heat-resistant topcoat is 35um per layer
