Hello, masters! In a couple of days, we are going to the prefabrication site of the construction company to inspect the stainless steel plates used in the fabrication of the two storage tanks for our project. At present, the owner has not provided us with the design drawings for the fabrication of these tanks; therefore, I have no information regarding the specific material, wall thickness, or design details of these tanks. All I know is that it’s two stainless steel tanks, each with a capacity of 50 cubic meters. For such ordinary storage tanks, are any special tests required for the rolled plates?
If it is necessary to confirm the material, then measure the thickness and the circumference of the coil; use a template to determine the arc shape
Have the customer provide specific drawings as well as the solution medium
Material list, roundness, straightness, weld misalignment, edges and corners, excess height... Find a table of the geometric dimensions of containers and refer to it.
