Regarding the often mentioned Class-0 oil-free compressed air, it is actually an extension of Class-1 compressed air; it represents a cleaner grade specified by the customer or by the equipment manufacturer in order to control the quality of their products. This grade is associated with a specific value regarding oil content. Currently, there are mainly two ways to achieve true zero-level oil-free conditions: First, by using oil-free machines in the upstream stage and avoiding the use of lubricants, thereby reducing oil contamination from reaching the downstream stage. Although oil contamination entering the upstream stage is reduced, we tend to overlook the level of oil contamination in the air. In fact, air-based oil contamination cannot be ignored either; especially in areas with poor environmental conditions, compression of the air can result in an oil content higher than 0.01 mg/m3. Therefore, it is more reliable to install additional oil removal equipment in the downstream stage in such cases. II. By adding stable oil removal equipment at the backend, such as catalytic oxidation-based oil removal and purification devices, these devices can be connected directly to the back end of the air compressor, thereby producing stable oil-free compressed air. Catalytic oxidation oil removal equipment is used to convert and remove the oils and fats introduced from the environment as well as during the compression process, thereby keeping the compressed air stable
