Due to the high pressure exerted on the equipment, the thickness of the elliptical head selected exceeds the value specified in the standards. For example, in the case of a DN900 elliptical head, GB/T25198 specifies a maximum nominal thickness of 28 mm, while the required thickness is 40 mm – is it still possible to use such a head?
Of course. GB/T150 only specifies minimum thickness requirements. The thickness specified in GB/T25198 merely indicates the relationship between thickness and weight
