During maintenance to address a device leak, it was found that the heat exchange tubes were broken

Single-tube rupture is very common.
The tubes are obviously spliced together, the welding quality is poor; they have cracked at the weld points. Does this heat exchange tube come in a 6000 size? Splicing is not allowed at all for values below 6000. . .
This is the pipe being connected, it looks like a ring weld.
What is the working medium and what is the operating pressure? What type of heat exchanger? Material? Service life, whether there were any overpressure situations during start-up and shutdown, any vibrations, etc. – how can anything be analyzed when there’s nothing of that kind?
Fracture caused by stress at maximum levels; the wall thickness of the tube is uneven, and the thinner sections cannot withstand the stress and thus break. The root cause lies in problems with the tube itself, such as uneven thickness or mechanical damage.
