Question: Based on the reply from the General Administration, my understanding is that whether your company manufactures spherical storage tanks and ultra-high pressure vessels or not, if you want to obtain a certification for rule-based design (metal containers), you must prepare trial design documents or proof of prior experience, and you must have reviewers who possess the relevant certificates or qualifications. Please engage in active discussions; it would be best to have official documents or responses available.
Yes, the new rules include both relaxations and tightening measures: they relax the requirements for manufacturing units to design on their own, but tighten the rules regarding the need for separate certification for designs. In the future, design units that lack sufficient comprehensive technical capabilities will gradually be phased out!
There was a similar discussion thread before; some netizens said that they would renew their certificates after June 1st, with a note in parentheses stating that storage tanks and ultra-high pressure vessels are not included. I think if there is such a note, it should be possible to avoid preparing spherical tanks and ultra-high pressure vessels.

Our company is applying to renew the certificate; we were previously using the old A2 design certificate. When the General Administration conducts its reviews, it requires that designs be carried out in accordance with TSG07 standards and the rules applicable to fixed-pressure vessels; this is equivalent to obtaining a license for the first time. For categories A1, A2, and A3, 4 sets of design documents are required, and any previous achievements cannot be used – they need not be submitted
It has raised the threshold for obtaining a separate design license; those who do not meet the requirements need not obtain such a license separately

Our company originally wanted to obtain a D license; after consulting this year, it turned out that only one category can be chosen, which is equivalent to the previous A1, A2, and A3 categories. The design document must include one set each of spherical tanks, towers, heat exchangers, and reactors, and the persons responsible for verification, review, and approval must have relevant experience. Our company originally held A123 and SAD design qualifications; after the company name was changed, we applied and the State Administration for Market Regulation promptly issued us certificates for \"rule design\" and \"analysis design\".:)
