Dear sea friends, I’m planning to use my intermediate professional title these days, and I’m a bit worried about the depth of my thesis. I have a small trick in my design that uses 3D software to simplify calculations, and I’m thinking of writing a paper on it – but would that be overkill? Will I be laughed at? . .
The senior engineer who reviews your defense may not be more expert in certain areas than you are. Just do it. Is a thesis necessary now? I didn’t have a thesis back then, but I still passed. Many of my friends have theses; it’s been several years now and they still haven’t succeeded in passing them.

Of course, the evaluation rules may vary from region to region. For papers on advanced professional titles in the field of software applications, writing them in the style of software product advertisements or user manuals may be considered to indicate a lack of depth and professionalism; generally, there is a need for content that reflects the author’s own insights, such as comparisons of different solutions and analyses of results.
The paper on practical tips for using 3D software to facilitate calculations is original work of my own; it’s much more useful than many professional papers, so I dared to write it down.

Write about the actual problems you encountered at work, summarize how you solved them, then propose methods for improvement – that will be enough to pass the paper assignment.
