Torque is a special type of moment that causes an object to rotate. For some equipment, in order to ensure the sealing performance of gaskets or sealing surfaces, and to prevent bolts from deforming due to being tightened too much, which could reduce their service life, or from becoming loose if not tightened enough, a specific torque value is defined for tightening the bolts, thereby achieving standardization. The locking force will not vary depending on who operates it. Torque quantification relies on torque wrenches, which need to be calibrated regularly.
