Is the lead time for enamel reactors much shorter than that for stainless steel reactors? Enameled reactors are standard equipment – are they in stock? Stainless steel reactors are custom-made, so the delivery time is long?
Not necessarily. Standard equipment also requires ordering through a contract.
Unless spare parts are available, it theoretically won’t be faster than stainless steel equipment, after all, more sandblasting, grinding, and glazing/ceramic coating processes are required.
It all has to be manufactured on the spot, which can shorten the construction time
It mainly depends on the supplier. Stainless steel reaction vessels may also be in stock.
The quantity required is not large; generally, glass-lined reaction vessels are available in stock. The prerequisite is to use a standard reaction vessel.
