Guys, what does an overall steel pipe flange IF look like?

The standard does not specify the height of the IF flange; how should the height be determined? Can it be connected to a takeover? Or should the length of the small end of the neck be increased, so that it can be inserted into the cylinder and welded, similar to an LWN flange?
This post was last edited by Paris on 2022-12-15 at 10:47. It seems like this method isn’t used very often; WN+ welded pipes or LWN are more common, right? The welding process is the same as that for LWN, involving Type D joints. As I recall, I’ve seen it only once, used on the drain and vent ports on the side of the tube sheet.
IF is generally used for small-diameter fittings that have thick-walled reinforcement; it requires one fewer ring joint compared to WN+forged pipes. In our company, this type of flange is used for fittings with a diameter of DN80 or less
It refers to those that are integrated with the equipment, like valves.
When used on pressure vessels, small-sized connections are typically required in large quantities, with high standard specifications; genuine products are not available on the market, so it is common to opt for fully forged components to avoid safety issues resulting from counterfeit items.
