Issues regarding the differences between Chinese and English versions in the tolerances for the flange face height per ASME standards, B16.5-2013 version

The company received a batch of standard flanges, and accidentally the convex surface on the production line was damaged; they then came to ask whether it would be possible to machine off a portion of that surface, say around 1 mm. I originally thought that the convex surface should not be included in the calculation of the flange thickness, so it should be possible to machine it. But a standard basis is needed. So I went to look up 16.5. I first checked the 2013 Chinese version; under 7.3 – Tolerances for machined surfaces, I found the required dimension: the 2mm boss has a tolerance of ±1mm. No! This thing is written like this. (b) Outer diameter: 2mm (0.06in.). Convexity: ±1.0mm (±0.03in.). I’m sure the punctuation is correct, but what kind of punctuation is this? ? I feel like I can’t understand it anymore! I later checked the English version; where there were colons in the Chinese version, there were commas in the English version... Damn... What a shitty translation! ! Sigh……
