From online sources, I learned that the diameter D of the cylinder barrel can be calculated using the formula D=594.7√GV/W. But how can I determine the length of the cylinder barrel? Is there a formula for the relevant calculation? As shown in the figure below, I found relevant formulas for calculating the length of steam cylinder barrels online, but I’m not sure where these formulas originate from I’m not sure if it’s accurate? I hope all the experts can help with this discussion.

I took a look; the 05K232 type water distributor/steam distributor is suitable for designs with a pressure of 1.6 MPa or less. Is it appropriate for use in applications with a design pressure higher than 1.6 MPa?
There is no specified length, but you need to consider how to arrange the various connections reasonably
The main things to consider are the space for installing the valve and the operating space.

The most accurate approach is to consult the valve manual; the distance between the edges of the handwheels of adjacent valves should be no less than the width of two fists, with a value of around 100 mm being a common standard. Additionally, the diameter of the separate cylinder should preferably be more than 2 times the maximum opening size to avoid large openings.
