There is currently a type II tower, and the material purchased is stainless steel strip in accordance with GB/T24511-2017. The supply condition is 1D solution-treated, pickled, and trimmed; the material specification is 10*1500, with no length dimension specified. Can such a material certificate be included in the completion documents of pressure vessels? If possible, this material has no length dimension; how should we handle it during subsequent material tracking? ; If that’s not possible, how should the completion documents for this product be prepared? Should we request the supplier to provide a material certificate including the length dimensions? Now the Special Inspection Agency requires length dimensions, but the supplier is unable to provide them. What should be done? Is there anyone who can tell me how to handle this? It would be best if there were a method supported by standard guidelines.
This type of stainless steel plate is a flat sheet, with dimensions of 10*1500*6000; these are the typical dimensions. The common sizes for flat sheets are 1250*2500, 1250*3000, 1250*6000, 1500*3000, and 1500*6000
It’s usually this size, but the one we use is longer than that. The main problem is that the material certificate provided currently does not include the length dimension, and our local inspection agency does not accept it; they require that the length must be specified on the material certificate
Just have the steel plate factory issue a new warranty certificate
According to the description, it is very likely that the product purchased is stainless steel strip, which is in the form of flat sheets. According to the requirements of 5.1.2 in GB150.4, material re-inspection is required for austenitic flat plates. Only when re-inspection is successful can it be used in the manufacture of pressure vessels.
