The welding machine and heater must be properly grounded, and the welding torch must have good insulation. 2. Gas cylinders or pipeline valves must be in good condition; when moving a cylinder, its lid must be properly closed. 3. The power supply voltage must not fluctuate by more than ±10% of the rated input voltage value; only under such conditions may it be used. 4. All instruments and meters on the welding machine must be complete and in good condition. 5. The tool accessories are complete and in good condition. 6. The working environment should meet the requirements. 7. Check that the bottom of the welding machine is clean and free of debris, ensuring that no metal particles are present. 2 During operation: 1. After the pre-shift inspection is successful, first turn on the main power switch quickly, and then turn on the control power switch. A green light indicates that the welder is working properly. 2. Check whether the cooling fan is operating properly and whether the air flow path is unobstructed. It is strictly prohibited to use the equipment without cooling. 3. The conductive nozzle should be checked regularly when in use. If there is wear or blockage, it should be replaced immediately. ④After use, the welding torch should be placed in a safe location; it is prohibited to leave it on the welded piece. 8. Pay constant attention to the wire feeding process during operation; the tensioning wheels must not be too loose or too tight, and the wire wheel tubes must not have sharp bends, with a minimum radius of curvature of >300 millimeters. 9. Fans are strictly prohibited at the welding site to ensure the protective effect of gases. 10. When leaving the workstation, the gas and electrical circuits should be turned off, and the power supply must be disconnected before leaving. 3 After work: 1. Turn off the gas and electrical circuits, cut off the power supply, clean up the work area, check for and extinguish any sparks present, and place tools and accessories in their designated locations. 2. Perform proper maintenance of the welding machine in accordance with the maintenance procedures. 3. Carry out proper shift handover. Argon arc welding procedure: 1. Before welding, prepare the argon cylinder; equip it with an argon flow meter, and then connect it to the air inlet hole on the back panel of the welder using an air pipe. Ensure that the connections are secure to prevent leaks. 2. Connect the TIG welding torch, gas connector, cable quick connector, and control connector to the corresponding sockets on the welding machine respectively. The workpiece is connected to the “+” terminal through the welding ground wire. 3. Connect the power cable of the welder and check whether the grounding is secure. 4. After connecting the power supply, select either AC TIG welding or DC TIG welding according to the welding requirements, and move the circuit switch and control switch to the AC or DC position. Note: The two switches must be used simultaneously. 5. Set the welding method switch to the “TIG” position. 6. Open the argon cylinder and flow meter, and set the gas testing switch to the “Testing” position; at this point, gas will flow out of the welding torch. After adjusting the gas flow, set both the testing and welding switches to the “Welding” position. 7. The magnitude of the welding current can be adjusted using the current control knob; rotating it clockwise reduces the current, while rotating it counterclockwise increases it. The current regulation range can be defined using the current size selector switch. 8. Select the appropriate tungsten rod and corresponding collet, then grind the tungsten rod to the desired taper and install it in the welding gun. Once these steps are completed, simply press the switch on the welding gun to begin welding.
