304: the common name in China is SUS304; according to Japanese standards it is SS304, while in the United States it is referred to as S30408. In China, the numerical designation for 304 is also used
These stainless steel codes are merely different ways in which **or various organizations identify 304 stainless steel; its elemental composition remains essentially the same.
Just select materials in accordance with the relevant standard specifications!
Though called differently, it actually refers to 18-8 stainless steel

Sometimes we specify S30408 for stressed components, and 304 for unstressed components (except for tower shells and those with high requirements)
