Recently, the company received a batch of orders, but the design firm refuses to provide the designs; it’s steel-lined PTFE reactors, with glass-lined blanks covered in PTFE. Is this acceptable? The strength and material calculations meet the requirements. The medium inside the tank is hydrofluoric acid, so PTFE must be used; however, the structure should follow the standards for linings used in the production of blanks. I’m puzzled; a corrosion-resistant material is applied as a lining in all containers.
It seems there’s no such practice! Either glass-lined equipment or PTFE lining! I’ve never heard of glass-lined PTFE!
