Composite/multi-layer containers: The mandatory requirements for composite/multi-layer containers are as follows: 01 The Q245R and Q345R steel plates used for the inner cylinders of multi-layer containers must be used in their normalized state. 02 The inner cylinder of multi-layer containers shall undergo tensile testing and V-notch impact testing on each heat-treated steel plate. 03 When the thickness of the steel plate used for the inner cylinder of multi-layer containers is ≥12 mm, ultrasonic testing shall be carried out on each sheet, with a grade of I considered acceptable. 04 For austenitic stainless steel cladding materials that are not included in the strength calculations, steel grades from standards other than GB 24511 can be used. 05 The unbound ratio of composite panels should not exceed 5%; the grade of the composite panels (B1-0%, B2-2%, B3-5%) should be specified in the design documents. 06 The maximum operating temperature for titanium-steel composite plates is 350°C. 07 The maximum operating temperature for copper-steel composite plates is 350°C. 08 When calculating strength, for multi-layer wrapped cylinders and nested cylinders, only the C value of the inner cylinder is considered.
