The platecoil heat exchanger plate is a highly efficient type of heat exchange plate; it is hollow on the inside, and cooling water, as well as heat transfer oils, steam, and other fluids, can be passed through it. Many Platecoil heat exchange plates are arranged at intervals to form a set of plates; the gaps between these plates allow solid particle material to pass through, enabling heat exchange between the high-temperature particles and the low-temperature cooling water. The cooler is placed vertically, with the hot materials flowing downward due to gravity from top to bottom. The device itself generates no energy consumption, no waste gases, and no noise; its cooling effect is far superior to that of fluidized beds or drums, and it can effectively cool products such as soda ash, fertilizers, potassium sulfate, sucrose, and catalysts.

Its full name is Platecoil heat exchange plate; it is formed by stacking two stainless steel sheets together and welding them with a laser, with weld points and flow guides. Once expanded, it creates a channel that allows the heat exchange medium to flow turbulently within, resulting in an excellent heat exchange efficiency. It is a standard requirement in the soda ash industry; it is widely used in the urea industry as well, and large compound fertilizer manufacturers also make use of it.
