Are all the tube holes of the baffle plates in a fixed-plate shell and tube heat exchanger utilized? Also, how is the spacing tube positioned? What’s the problem with not using spacers? Can’t set the distance directly through the baffle?
Are there any books on this topic? Please recommend some.

The holes are used to pass through the heat exchange tubes, while the spacing tubes are hollow tubes placed at regular intervals; these hollow tubes are mounted on the tie rods, and the spacing refers to the distance between two baffle plates
The pull rod holes on this plate do not meet the standards; they are too close to the edge and there are too few of them, as required by GB151. The spacing of the baffle plates can be achieved using spacers or by welding
