There is a piece of equipment designed in accordance with ASME VIII-1; the flanges used are of German standard, with the DIN standard now being EN1092. The materials used meet ASME requirements. I would like to ask experts: how can it be determined whether such flanges are qualified?

It is not possible to purchase flanges of other standards directly, as flange standards specify requirements regarding the materials. B-series flanges or custom flanges are generally used for construction coils. Of course, the material of non-standard flanges must comply with ASME standards, and design calculations are also required.
One approach is that although you are using a DIN flange, you can treat it as a non-standard ASME flange, enter its actual dimensions into PV Elite, and use Appendix 2 for the calculations; as long as the calculations yield a valid result, that’s sufficient.
