Issues regarding the registration of pressure pipelines after modification

In accordance with TSG D7006-2020 \"Rules for the Supervision and Inspection of Pressure Pipelines\", changes to the specifications, materials, or structural layout of pipelines constitute modifications to such pipelines. In line with TSG08-2017 \"Rules for the Use and Management of Special Equipment\", when there is a change in the entity responsible for using special equipment that has been registered, or when the name of the using entity changes, the relevant entity shall apply to the registration authority for a change in registration. Pipelines are generally registered on a per-unit basis; then, do pressure pipelines that are modified not need to be registered again? Are the modified pressure pipes also reinstalled? Isn’t this a newly installed pipe?

Even if the pipeline was previously registered on a per-unit basis, it needs to be re-registered after the modification. Reconditioned pressure pipes are considered to be newly installed pipes, as the support systems, fixing methods, and connection techniques of the pipes may need to be changed after reconditioning; therefore, they require re-registration. Therefore, the modified pressure pipeline needs to be re-registered. -
