I’d like to ask the experts here; it’s my first time hearing of a reverse-flow Y-type filter. What does it look like and what is its length?
A reverse-flow Y-type flow filter is essentially a traditional Y-type filter to which a counter-current cleaning function has been added. Such filters are typically designed in a Y-shaped structure, with an inlet and an outlet, and a filter mesh is installed in the middle to capture impurities. The difference is that a reverse-flow Y-type filter can be backwashed by changing the flow direction, thereby removing the deposits accumulated on the filter screen; this eliminates the need to disassemble it for cleaning, simplifying maintenance and improving filtration efficiency. In appearance, it resembles a regular Y-type filter, but it may have additional pipes or valves to enable backflow functionality. .
