According to a report from the Yangtze River Daily’s Wuhan edition on August 24, reporters learned from Wuhan Investment and Control Group that its subsidiary, Wuguo Energy Company, has successfully won the bid for the supply and installation of high-parameter pressure components for the 300-megawatt compressed air energy storage power station demonstration project in Jiuquan, Gansu, carried out by China Energy Engineering Group. As the world’s first 300-megawatt artificial cavern compressed air energy storage power station demonstration project, it marks a significant breakthrough in Wuhan’s capabilities in high-end equipment manufacturing in the field of world-class new energy storage solutions. Not long ago, China Energy Engineering Group held a press conference in Changsha to announce major scientific and technological achievements in compression energy storage. It was officially announced that the complete set of technologies for artificial cavern gas storage systems with the highest pressure in the world had been successfully tested, breaking multiple world records; Wuhan Boiler Energy, as one of the project participants, was invited to attend the event. It is reported that the Compressed Air Energy Storage Artificial Cavern Laboratory of China Energy Engineering Group is currently the world’s largest and highest-parameter in-situ testing platform for artificial caverns. Leveraging its advanced research capabilities and manufacturing expertise, Wuguo Energy was responsible for the design and construction of the key pressure components in the testing system. It successfully overcame various technical challenges, including the implementation of high-pressure piping systems for deep-earth projects and the manufacture of oversized manway devices, thereby providing solid support that enabled the project to set multiple world records. In recent years, Wuguo Energy has actively responded to the **\"dual carbon\" strategy, continuously increasing investment in technological innovation and achieving numerous breakthroughs in the field of new energy storage.
