Question: For storage tanks designed in accordance with GB50341-2014, do the units responsible for on-site construction need to possess the appropriate qualifications for on-site manufacturing?
Atmospheric pressure storage tanks are not considered pressure vessels; the requirements for construction qualifications can be found in the standards specified in AQ3053-2015, \"Safety Technical Regulations for Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks\"
It’s not necessary, but welders need qualifications as operators of special equipment.
What an audacious idea – what used to be considered assembly now falls under the category of manufacturing, so corresponding qualifications are necessary. Installation has been reduced to almost nothing.
