My company needs to recover condensate water. But I don’t know how to do it. These days, there are many manufacturers of condensate recovery systems, and the options available vary widely. I would appreciate some guidance from those with experience. The condensate water in our **company is mainly generated by steam pipes, steam distribution cylinders, and steam-using equipment.
OP, you’ve put it too simply. To be more explicit, normally a return water pipe and a condensate tank need to be installed, but a plan can only be devised after taking your actual situation into account
Main steam pipe DN300, 150m; steam distribution cylinder volume 1.7m3; 5 groups of steam traps. The distance is 50m per group. The steam cylinder and the main pipe steam trap bank are separated by a truck passage. The boiler room is 150m away from the steam distribution cylinder. Condensate recovery is required to be implemented for use in the boiler. It is laid on the steel frame of the main steam pipeline at a height of 5 meters above the ground; the drain pipes lead from below the main steam pipeline to the ground, and the condensed water flows into the gutter after being discharged. The water discharged from the steam traps is directly returned to the deaerator through a main pipe. However, there are two issues here: first, the steam trap model must be selected correctly; second, the diameter of the return main pipe must be appropriate. Of course, if the pressure in your pipeline system is high, you can use another flash tank to further separate the secondary steam from the water; the steam is used for deoxygenation and heating, while the water is pumped back to the water storage tank.
