When air enters the hot water side of a plate heat exchanger, the heat exchange efficiency is poor; how can this be resolved?

We have a plate heat exchanger, and its heat exchange performance is unstable. The main reason for this is the presence of air in the hot water side, which interferes with the heat exchange process; therefore, we need to periodically operate the valves to release that air. I’m wondering if anyone here has any good solutions. . . . . . . .
