Why is a T added to GB151?

The recommendation means it’s optional, right? No T is needed; it’s not necessary either.
(1) Classified by the scope of application, standards can be divided into **national standards, industry standards, local standards, and enterprise standards. (2) Based on their legal binding force, they can be categorized as mandatory standards, recommended standards, and technical documents providing guidance for standardization. (3) According to their nature, standards can be divided into technical standards, management standards, and operational standards. (4) Based on the subject matter and function of these standards, they can be classified as basic standards, product standards, method standards, safety standards, health standards, and environmental protection standards. Mandatory standards are denoted with “GB”. The recommended standards are prefixed with “GB/T”
It is likely that the writing committee lacks competence and sufficient authority.
Adding T is a recommended standard that can be adopted optionally; not adding T is a mandatory standard that must be followed.
