In the upper part of the solvent oil distillation tower, the product is recovered. What should be done if the circulating water in the water cooler used to cool the cold reflux stream and the product stream is suddenly interrupted? Please advise, experts
The water condenser stops the circulating water, and the heat source to the reboiler at the bottom of the tower is disconnected to prevent overpressure in the tower.

In addition to stopping bottom heating or the heat cycle, the water circuit relief valve must be opened promptly to prevent overpressure and rupture of the water circuit.
Without circulating water, the pressure rises, and the tower will trigger an overpressure interlock. According to the overpressure interlock result, the reboiler is shut off first. Prevent overpressure.
