Reactor A needs to have its temperature increased, while Reactor B needs to have its temperature decreased. The material in Reactor A needs to be raised from 50°C to 115°C, and the material in Reactor B needs to be raised from 115°C to 70°C. Both reactors are equipped with coiled tubes, and the materials inside them are in liquid form. Is it possible to: 1. Use steam to raise the temperature of Reactor A and cold water to lower the temperature of Reactor B, with the cold water coming from a cooling tower? In this case, Reactor A and Reactor B operate independently of each other. 2. Connect the coiled tubes in Reactor A and Reactor B using a pump, so that water can be used to transfer the heat from Reactor B to Reactor A; if the temperature in Reactor A is still not sufficient, then steam can be used to raise its temperature. If Reactor B still needs to have its temperature lowered, then water from the cooling tower can be used for that purpose. I would like to use option 2 in order to save steam – is this feasible? In other words, is there any way to make use of the heat generated by Reactor B?

Moreover, it can be designed as a heat exchanger to enable heat exchange between two substances; once one substance meets the requirements, additional heat can be supplied to the other one if it does not.

Two-stage heating for B could also be an option. Additionally, the outlet temperature of B needs to be taken into account – if it is too high, it might affect the cooling tower.
The temperature difference is too small; we also need to consider whether there is enough heat.
From an engineering and production perspective, it’s better to keep them separate

Calculate the calories. I think it’s quite creative.
