On the applications and limitations of square flanges

Have anyone used square flanges? I’d like to discuss this with you. It’s a box with a slight positive pressure, measuring 3M by 4M in length and width, and it uses gas as the medium. If square flanges are used for connection (calculations are done according to HG/T20582), isn’t there a higher risk of leakage? Compared to circular flanges, what are the reasons why leaks are more likely to occur with square flanges?
Square flanges are suitable for connecting pipes under negative pressure or at pressures below 0.6 MPa, and their diameters are relatively small, generally below DN100. For reference only.
It’s intended for use in square boxes; the medium used is gas, and leaks would be a problem. If other non-toxic and harmless substances can be used, then they’ll be used. Anyway, there are calculation methods available, and the operating conditions aren’t severe
I have seen square flanges on freezers.
