Why doesn’t the hot water pipe vibrate when it’s turned off in public baths? What’s the difference?

Our factory, in an effort to simplify the work process, plans to make our bathhouse operate in a fully automatic manner. We intend to install control valves at the steam inlet and the water inlet; this is the first step, but there are many related issues that need to be resolved. Issue 1: Currently, before turning on the bathhouse, all the hot water pipes inside must be fully opened to prevent the pipes from vibrating. What’s confusing is that the condensate flows through the shell side, while the hot water flows through the tube side – why is that? Does boiling cause the tubes to vibrate? Question 2: Why don’t the pipes vibrate in public baths? What’s the difference? If we install it to turn on automatically, but we still have to go to the bathroom to turn on the hot water pipe, how can this issue be resolved? ? Vaporization generates gas, causing water hammer and resulting in vibrations. Reasons for many bends in pipelines.
This is indirect steam heating, so the tube vibration you mentioned should not occur. It might be water hammer caused by an overly long condensate pipe. It is recommended to install the drain trap near the bottom of the heat exchanger.
