The heating medium of the feed heater is the condensed water in the blue pipeline. Under normal circumstances, the medium outlet temperature is cascade controlled by the flow regulating valve. So the question is, what is the function of green circulating cooling water? When will it be turned on?

It is an MTBE device that heats methanol and isobutylene, which enter the etherification reactor after heating. What I don't understand is what is the function of the circulating cooling water pipeline? Used during shutdown for maintenance?
If the raw material temperature is higher than the reaction trigger temperature, circulating water cooling needs to be turned on.
This system can both heat and cool.
