Discussion on the support structure for the cooler core assembly

The customer has requested that the support slideway part in contact with the rollers be made of stainless steel. Using stainless steel for the traditional support structure would result in excessive costs. Below are some of my ideas for improving the support part; I hope everyone can offer their valuable suggestions. Structural description: The part in contact with the rollers is made of 2mm-thick 304 stainless steel bent plates; beneath these are two L-shaped bent plates. Several ribs perpendicular to the L-shaped plates are welded in between, with the number and position of these ribs determined by the number and location of the rollers. Due to the large outer radius of the L-shaped plates, round steel bars with a diameter of 5–6mm are used for welding, spaced 500mm apart and with a welding length of 100mm. The welds need to be smooth and strong. The stainless steel bent plates and the L-shaped support plates are fixed together using clamps.
