The maximum unsupported span is simply the greatest distance between the two support points of the heat exchange tubes; this value is 610. It essentially corresponds to the equivalent length for pressure-induced instability. Refer to Figure 7-2 in GB/T151 to obtain the maximum value of this distance.
It’s not 610; it’s the maximum value near the pipe manager divided by square root 2, plus the direct value in the middle, with the larger of the two values being taken. There are relevant provisions in 151
GB151 6.8.2.2.2 refers to the area between the baffle plates; it does not include the area between the tube sheet and the baffle plates. Since the tube sheet is quite rigid, the value should be 400
