In heat exchangers, how are the length, width, and thickness of the bypass baffles and intermediate baffles determined? In GB151, it only states that the thickness of the bypass baffle is the same as that of the deflector plate; how should the thicknesses of the other components be determined?
Determined during process calculation, used to assist in adjusting the flow velocity of each flow path
The length is basically determined by the distance between the folding plates; the width generally should not exceed the outer diameter of the folding plates and should not interfere with the heat exchange tubes; the thickness is usually the same as that of the folding plates
