Gentlemen, I have a small project that requires two plate heat exchangers. The specific parameters are as shown in the photos. I did a rough calculation of the heat exchange area for these two plate heat exchangers; according to my calculations, the PHE-4055 should use a plate heat exchanger with an area of 100 m2, while the PHE-4054 should use one with an area of 12 m2. The heat exchange area calculated by the procurement department and sent by the heat exchanger manufacturer differs greatly from the value I calculated. Friends, if you have time, could you help me estimate roughly what size would be appropriate for these two plate heat exchangers?
Note: For the parameters in the photos, those marked with * must be filled in by the supplier.
The key is to calculate the average heat transfer temperature difference accurately!
The first one is about 70 square meters, and the second one is about 6 square meters, based on rough estimates.
