Can the insulation material \"rock wool\" be used?

I remember there used to be a claim that rock wool was toxic and its use was prohibited. Can rock wool be used at all these days? Please give me some advice! ! !

The biggest difference between rock wool and asbestos is that rock wool is made from melted rock or slag, whereas asbestos is a natural mineral fiber, such as serpentine and amphibole. Asbestos is not biodegradable; prolonged inhalation of its toxic substances can cause irreversible damage, such as pneumoconiosis and lung cancer. Therefore, most **asbestos-containing materials have been banned at present; for example, the European Union has imposed a complete ban on the mining, processing, and use of asbestos.
Is there anything cheaper than this?
Personally, I think insulation materials made of aluminum silicate are better; of course, rock wool is cheaper and can also be used.
