We have a heat exchanger, with high-pressure boiler steam at 160°C and 160 Bar on the tube side, and tap water on the shell side. The aluminum gaskets used for the tube sheet heads these days are not very good; they leak after just 3 months. Is there a better option? Are there any standards in this area?
