Pipeline material selection

Dear sea friends: What material is suitable for using in gas (exhaust) and liquid pipelines for toluene, which contains acidic (hydrochloric acid) substances? We are currently using 304 material, but it corrodes after a short time. We’re hesitant to use PTFE pipes due to concerns regarding static electricity.
Upgrade material, 321 or 316
Due to the presence of chloride ions, 304 stainless steel definitely won’t work; 316L or glass-lined steel should be fine.
When using wet HCl, material selection is complicated; titanium may not be suitable, and more advanced metals are required. As for non-metals, glass-lined or fluorinated coatings work well
Stainless steel cannot be used in solutions containing chloride ions. National standards specify that chloride ions must not exceed 25 ppm.
Use duplex steel or super stainless steel
