The roller conveyor has a simple structure, high reliability, and is easy to maintain. It is suitable for transporting various types of goods such as boxes, bags, and pallets. Bulk materials, small items, or irregularly shaped items need to be placed on pallets or transfer boxes for transportation. Conveyor belts can transport materials with large individual weights, or withstand high impact loads. According to the driving method, roller conveyor structures can be divided into non-powered roller conveyors and powered roller conveyors. When selecting conveyors for the food industry, full stainless steel bodies and stainless steel drums should be given priority. Before customizing a roller conveyor, we first need to determine the following parameters of the roller conveyor: (1) the length, width, and height of the objects to be conveyed ; (2) The component of each transport unit ; (3) Condition of the bottom of the conveyed material ; (4) Are there any special requirements regarding the working environment? ; (5) The conveying method can be either unpowered or motor-driven. The most common problem with roller conveyors is related to the motor; the motor is the heart of the entire system, and even the slightest issue can prevent the conveyor from functioning properly. It is important to address any problems that arise promptly, but regular maintenance is also necessary in order to extend the lifespan of the conveyor and thereby bring better economic benefits to manufacturing companies. The most common problem with roller conveyors during operation is that the motor fails to start or slows down immediately after starting. There are generally four reasons for this issue: (1) It may be caused by a problem with the wiring. Solution: Inspect the conveyor belt route as soon as possible ; (2) It could also be caused by a drop in voltage. Solution: Check that the voltage is normal ; (3) It could also be a problem with the contactor. Solution: In this case, it is necessary to check the overloaded electrical appliances and replace them promptly ; (4) Another possibility is that it is caused by too many consecutive operations of the roller conveyor in a short period of time. Solution: At this point, we only need to reduce the number of operations in order to enable the drum machine to start working properly.
