Dear teachers, hello. I would like to ask what precautions should be taken when starting up the production trials for the equipment in the first phase of a newly established company. The main equipment used in this company’s pharmaceutical and fine chemical manufacturing includes static equipment such as reaction tanks, storage tanks, heat exchangers, recovery towers, condensers, etc., as well as dynamic equipment such as centrifugal pumps, magnetic pumps, dry vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, air compressors, centrifugal compressors, etc. I would be extremely grateful if you could share some good practices and methods for operating these new pieces of equipment. If you can read the Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual (IOM) provided by the equipment manufacturer several times and understand it. It’s described in great detail there; there are basically no issues left
Pressure testing and leak checking for static equipment, and commissioning of dynamic equipment. For debugging suggestions, refer to the manual
We also have a new workshop that needs to be put into use, and we need to conduct tests on it as well
This requires considerable foundational knowledge and some practical experience
Each case needs to be analyzed on its own merits; in particular, issues such as the commissioning of mechanical equipment, operating procedures, and equipment management must be addressed.
