Due to the different production areas for the materials manufactured by various food processing enterprises, the requirements for their production processes, as well as equipment development and upgrades, the production environments of these enterprises vary. Type O belts are polyurethane round belts, also known as circular belts. They are usually made from PU material or rubber material; however, even for the same type of rubber, variations in specifications and performance can occur due to differences in manufacturing processes. Type O belts have good surface finish, as well as a variety of bright colors. Type O is available in both smooth and rough variants, in red and green colors. The PU round strip possesses extremely high softness; in addition to its resistance to bending and high tensile strength, it is also resistant to oil, wear, and chemical corrosion. It is easy to clean and can be welded quickly, with the resulting joints being strong and durable – without any risk of breaking, separating, or stretching. The surface is slightly rough, but the particles are evenly distributed; it feels soft to the touch, which gives it a wide range of applications. Type O belts also feature an attractive appearance, smooth operation, low noise levels, and ease of replacement, and are widely used in light industry sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and beverages. At the same time, the O-ring belt can be used for a long time in harsh external environments; it not only has good damping properties but also high strength for mechanical operation, along with a high rebound rate of its material. It also exhibits good dimensional stability, and is resistant to various solvents as well as ozone and ultraviolet rays. Type O bands are composed of rigid mesogenic units connected by flexible spacer groups; they are circular bands that exhibit liquid crystal properties in the molten state, and possess good mechanical and thermal stability, high elasticity, high elongation properties, as well as excellent processability.
