During installation, in order to make better use of the flexible chain plate, it is necessary to adjust its tension properly. Moreover, during operation, the flexible chain plate may become either too loose or too tight; in such cases, appropriate adjustments need to be made to ensure that it functions in its optimal condition. There are many types of flexible chain plates, and with different classification criteria, the models also vary. However, no matter which type of chain plate it is, its tension must be adjusted properly when in use – it should neither be too tight nor too loose. If it is too tight, it will affect the conveying speed and cause severe wear on the flexible chain plate ; If it’s too loose, the delivery will be unstable. In practical applications, it has been found that if the temperature difference is too large or the conveyor is too long, the flexible chain plates may become tight or loose. If we encounter problems such as tensioning or loosening of the flexible chain plates in practice, the best approach is to use idler wheels in between; the natural weight of these idler wheels can be used to keep the flexible chain plates taut. Alternatively, a spring tensioning mechanism can be used at the end of the conveyor to ensure that the flexible chain plates remain under tension at all times. It is also necessary to lubricate the chain plates on the conveyor, otherwise noise may occur; the best solution is to apply lubrication to the bottom side of the flexible chain plates. It is widely used in various fields such as automated production lines, glass machinery, food processing equipment, pharmaceutical machinery, and electronic machinery. It’s not just the tension; during use, various parameters of flexible chain plates need to be kept within appropriate ranges, otherwise it will only accelerate their rate of aging.
