What does the weldability of a process mean? Good welding process performance of a certain type of electrode means that it is easier to weld with this electrode, right? If that is the case, is the weldability inversely related to the weld quality? The better the welding process properties of the electrode, the worse the quality of the weld? For example, the J422 electrode has good welding process performance, but the quality of the weld is relatively poor. On the other hand, the J507 electrode has poor welding process performance, yet the quality of its welds is somewhat better?
