Experts, I plan to reuse a storage tank. When using an element detector to test it, the readings show high levels of titanium and vanadium; I’m not sure what material it is. I would appreciate some guidance from you all
Compare the chemical composition of the stainless steel material!
This is definitely not steel; it must be a vanadium-titanium alloy, and chromium is also present. It might be used in devices involving liquid alkali metals, or even in environments with some level of radiation exposure. This alloy is very expensive, and it is also difficult to process.
