Detailed test procedures for the gasoline calorimeter: 1. Prepare water in the inner cylinder: Adjust the temperature of the water in the small cylinder appropriately; generally, it should be about 1 K lower than the temperature of the water in the outer cylinder. This ensures that by the end of the test, the temperature in the inner cylinder is about 1 K higher than that in the outer cylinder, which is useful for calibration or when conducting parallel tests to measure heat release. 2. Prepare the oxygen bomb: Secure the prepared ignition wire to the two ignition electrodes of the oxygen bomb to ensure good contact; the resistance value of the ignition wire is generally 4–6Ω. 3. Carefully place the small cylinder into the sleeve, position the oxygen bomb firmly on the feet of the small cylinder, and gently close the upper cover so that the central electrode on the upper cover makes good contact with the tip of the oxygen bomb; if not, this can be adjusted by changing the length of the central electrode screw. After adjustment, when the upper cover is pressed down, the circumference of the sealing ring should make even contact with the top surface of the square box. 4. Select the test type (calibration or measurement), enter the sample data, and start the test. For the entire test process, please refer to the relevant content mentioned above. 5. Once the test is completed, the test results are displayed on the screen; when the printing option is set to “Automatic”, the test report will also be printed automatically. 6. Lift the upper cover, remove the small cylinder and the oxygen bomb; release air from the oxygen bomb, open it for cleaning, and prepare it for the next experiment.
